The PAV unit has been developed in accordance to EN ISO 12945
standards incorporating all 3 parts and adopting the following
test methods...
Part 1: ICI Pilling Box Method. BS 5811
Part 2: Modified Martindale Method. SN 198 525
Part 3: Atlas random tumble method. ASTM D 3512-96.
The versatile nature of the unit includes a recess for the
modified Martindale specimen head. This enables the fabric
to be assessed during the test procedure, whilst still mounted
on the head.
