The Opti-Burst is a versatile instrument designed to accurately detect and measure the bursting strength, distension, and fatigue of a wide range of materials, including woven and knitted textiles, technical textiles, non-wovens, paper, cardboard, plastics, and both synthetic and natural leather.
It achieves specimen distension through a powerful pneumatic or hydraulic system utilizing a diaphragm, offering a broad pressure range of either 0 – 12 Bar or 0 – 20 Bar to cover all required bursting tests. Crucially, the machine employs laser technology for highly precise, non-contact measurement of the distension height, ensuring accurate data capture. Furthermore, the tester is equipped with preset international testing standards for immediate use, while also providing users the flexibility to define and build their own custom testing protocols.
